A low profile, wide footprint driver that looks noticeably larger than its measured 460cc. An expanded CORTECH Chamber and 54 grams of back weighting combine to create Mizuno’s most stable ever driver, with exceptional straight-line performance across its wide, inviting clubface.
A high energy MAS1C steel face is enhanced by an expanded CORTECH Chamber, shifted closer to the clubface to increase both centre and off centre ball speeds. A speed bevel applied to the leading edge ensures that performance is equally impressive from tee and turf.
Features-
- Max stability - Wide profile, massive 54g back weighting and 40% larger graphite composite for extreme twist resistance to off centre strikes and a straight, predictable ball flight.
- New beta rich TI LFS - A new lighter, faster face material - measuring 9% higher in tensile strength (compared to SAT2041) for a complex multi-thickness face geometry. First introduced on Mizuno's 2024 Tour driver the ST-G 440cc.
- Extended - A dense stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU - taking stress from the clubface and creating an additional energy source. Lengthened in the ST MAX and shifted closer to the clubface to maintain ball speeds across a wider portion of the clubface.
- Longer 45 ¾ inch shaft for faster clubhead speeds - Possible through the additional stability and off centre performance of the ST MAX head.
- Quick Switch Hosel - 4 degrees of adjustability.

Mizuno's ST-Max 230 driver competes boldly with top models like the TaylorMade Qi10 Max and Ping G430 Max 10K. Its elegant appearance and sophisticated feel cater to discerning golfers, although its slightly higher spin may not appeal to all. With Mizuno's new Beta Rich Ti LFS face for improved speed and a standard playing length of 45.75 inches, it offers forgiveness without sacrificing clubhead speed. While its higher spin may affect distance compared to some rivals, it remains competitive, potentially offering distance gains for players with different speeds and launch conditions who are looking to increase the spin rate on their driver.
